the integration of holistic, creative and experiential practices
The Therapeutic Practices Used
To help build a safe and life-giving experience Luke integrates a range of practices that support a Person-Centred approach.
These practices include Focusing Oriented Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Existential therapy. Luke makes use of body-mind practices (Yoga and Meditation), along with creative expression and reflection through song-writing.
How Luke Practices Therapy
Naturally enough, you are at the centre.
Your reality, your lived experience and story will be the source of our work together.
Known as Person-Centred Therapy, this approach is a response that honours you and your life with unconditional positive regard. It is guided by a core belief in your inherent integrity and a foundational respect for your ability to connect to the unique core of who you are your capacity to follow its call.
Companioning you in this way facilitates a trust and rapport that helps you reconnect to your inherent goodness, where you can befriend all that you are. With greater self-compassion, you can release the burden of suffering and other self-limiting patterns.
Co-Creating a Relational Alliance
With a heart for compassion, empathy and presence, I have a capacity and natural expertise for holding space in a way that generates safety and trust through the counselling and psychotherapy practices I offer.
As we work together, we will co-create a relationship of safety and trust from which new and generative possibilities will emerge, along with the a deeper sense of healing and wholeness.
